This article will guide you through the process of adding an existing client to Firmcheck. Navigate to your firm's Client's tab.
Ensure you're in the Undergoing CDD tab, and select the "+ Add Client" menu at the top right of the page.
The quickest way to set up companies or individuals is by using our Bulk Importing Client Data service. This will automatically add your clients directly into Firmcheck, allowing you to complete AML or if you have completed the client in another system, signing off the client as completed, allowing you to set the due date for follow-up within Firmcheck.
Import from another system
If the party exists in Companies House, you can search for the entity.
An important aspect of due diligence for a firm doing AML is the status or the liquidity of the Company appearing during the import process, showing immediately that the company is dissolved could raise the risk factors.
Also, Accountants and other parties may work on liquated companies, so the ability to import the entity streamlines the process as opposed to creating the company manually.
Select the entity to import and click > Next step
