If you don’t currently have any ID documents for your client, why not try an advanced ID check? This allows your client to upload the necessary documents and complete the verification process seamlessly.
You can send an email request to collect documents and verify their identity using biometric technology. This process also includes the Essential ID check for added security.
The cost of this search is £4.00 + VAT, which will be added to your monthly invoice once the check is completed.
If you have not added your clients email address to the client profile, add it in now. Otherwise it will pull through automatically and press the "Send now" button

The client will just need to have the document on hand and start this process.
They will need both a form of ID and proof of address, they need to be 2 different forms of document.
The client will just select country of residence and enter their address, then select the box they've entered their address and select which address is correct from the address finder list.
The next step will ask the client to upload their proof of address, such as a bank statement or council tax bill.
For each step that requires a live photo or document capture, they will need to "Allow" access to the camera. If access is not granted, refreshing the page in the top right-hand corner may be necessary to avoid issues with the verification process.
The next step is for the client to upload their proof of address. They simply need to click the blue "Capture" button at the bottom of the screen, and once satisfied with the picture, they can select "Accept."
This step will ask the client can they connect to their location, in this area they will upload their ID. They can upload

Once the client has uploaded their photo ID and selected "Accept," BioVerify will display a loading screen as it processes and reads the data from the ID.
Next, the client will need to verify and confirm that the ID details extracted from the image match their actual information.
The final step is for the client to complete the selfie verification. They simply need to take a live selfie, ensuring their face stays within the oval shape, and smile.
Once the client completes the selfie verification stage, they will have successfully finished the biometric verification process. They will then be directed to a confirmation screen similar to this.

When your client has confirmed they have completed the biometric verification, you will navigate to the verification tab and see a similar setting to this
You can view the proof of Identity + biometric by selecting "View"
You will need to select "Review" beside proof of address, once selected you will see a page similar to this one. You will need to confirm the address and view the proof of address document to confirm you have verified this and save.
Once you're confident that the verification process is complete, you can update the status of the "Verification" tab. Simply select the status from the dropdown menu, save the changes, and a date stamp will appear to confirm the update.
