Using our verification request tab to manage identity requests
The Verification Requests tab is your central hub for managing all identity verification activity within Firmcheck. From here, you can view the status of checks, issue new requests in bulk, and track progress for each individual.
How to Access Verification Requests
Navigate to the Work tab.
Select the Verification Requests tab.
This view provides a complete overview of all verification checks that have been sent, completed and failed by individuals.
Managing Checks
From this tab, you can:
Issue verification requests in bulk to relevant individuals.
Monitor outgoing requests and track their status.
Manage completed checks as they return.
You can also use the built-in search and filters to quickly find what you need:
Search by name – locate an individual’s verification record.
Filter by type of check – biometric, cryptographic, or both.
Filter by progress or send date – track requests by status and timeline.
🪪 Next Steps After ID Verification
When using Firmcheck for identity verification (IDV):
If a request shows as completed for both biometric and cryptographic checks, your next step is to declare the verification complete with Companies House.
If a check has expired, contact the client to remind them of the importance of completing their verification and reissue the check.
Remember: you are only charged for completed checks, so resending an expired one will not incur additional costs unless the client completes it.
