Firmcheck allows you to complete identity verification (IDV) in bulk, saving time and streamlining your compliance workflows. To make the most of this feature, it’s important to ensure that your client data is accurate and up to date before you begin.
🆕 If You’re New to Firmcheck
Start by importing your client data in bulk.
Complete a bulk client import of your limited companies by following the step-by-step guidance here: (link to import guide).
Once the import is complete, all your limited companies will be visible in Firmcheck along with their related parties with a focus on directors and PSCs (people with significant control).
This ensures Firmcheck can automatically connect relevant individuals to each entity, ready for verification.
🔄 If You’re an Existing Firmcheck User
To use bulk ID verification effectively, make sure each director and PSC record includes an email address. This is essential because both biometric and cryptographic checks are sent directly to the individual’s email for them to complete.
You can easily check and update this information in bulk:
Go to Clients > People.
Select Actions.
Choose Bulk update individuals.
This will allow you to quickly add or edit email addresses for all relevant parties, ensuring the verification process runs smoothly.
Follow these steps:
On the People screen, select Generate CSV – this will create a CSV file containing your current client data.
Click Download CSV to save the file to your device.
Open the downloaded CSV file in your preferred spreadsheet tool.
Edit individual details for each person as needed.✅ Do not add or remove any rows of people.
✅ Ensure all required fields remain populated and are not cleared.
Once you’ve finished updating, save the file as a CSV.
Return to Firmcheck and upload the edited CSV to apply your changes.
Once uploaded, your updated details will sync in Firmcheck, allowing you to proceed with bulk ID verification seamlessly.
You will be guided to the following window, where you can review the updated fields, and once confirmed, select update data as shown above. Which then uploads the changes made.
